A couple of my friends are getting married later this month and in my infinite wisdom I decided to make them a quilt. However I've now fallen quite behind with my sewing eek! Fingers crossed it'll be ready in time but for now the lush colours are keeping me going...

Busy swooning
So the swoon blocks are coming along well- that's five down and four to go yaaaaaay! I am totally in love with field study fabric, now I'm thinking I want to make some dresses out of it too but am kinda busy right now so I guess it'll have to wait until this is finished.
Projects on the go at the mo:
- mum & Jim's wedding quilt for March
- Sarah & Ron's wedding quilt for Feb
- Shona's weekender bag for next weekend (eek!)
Now I need to buy more fabric!

Succumb to swoon
At last I have succumbed! after having lusted over the swoon pattern all over blogland I just needed an excuse to start another quilt (as if!)- Luckily my mum provided me with one by getting engaged to her partner Jim. They requested a quilt as their wedding present so it'd be rude not to- right? They're getting married in March so I guess I'd better get a shifty on......
Howdy!
I've been thinking about starting this blog for a long time.... too long really so here goes.... I love to sew, I particularly love quilting in particular. It never ceases to amaze me how much pleasure I can derive from cutting up bits of fabric and sewing them back together in different ways.
Hopefully some of you will enjoy my escapades. Here goes.....
